Nicole Richie is an American television personality, actress as well as a fashion icon. Likewise, Nicole Richie is best known for her work in the television reality show “The Simple Life”. She where she worked alongside her fellow pal Paris Hilton during the show.

Early life and Childhood

Nicole’s full name is Nicole Camille Richie. She was born on September 21, 1981. Thus, she is 39 years old in the present. Similarly, Nicole was born in Berkeley, California. Likewise, she was born to parents Peter Michael Escovedo (Father) and Karen Moss( Mother).  However, as her birth parents weren’t in the state to provide the utmost facilities to her at that time.

So she moved in with Lionel Richie with her parents’ consent, who was her biological father’s father. Lionel and his wife Brenda Harvey acted as her guardian and legally adopted her when she turned 9. She has two step-siblings; Miles and Sofia. Nicole was a very bright girl

As for her schooling, Nicole attended Montclair College Preparatory School. Similarly, for college, she went to the University of Arizona. There she studied Arts and Media. However, she didn’t complete her study at the university and dropped out of college. She attended the same college as other celebrities like Luke Walton and Kourtney Kardashian.

Career and Professional life

Nicole has spread her reach to very wide. She is involved in different sectors like television, fashion, writing, music, and business. Talking about her career in the television industry, she debuted in the year 2003 with the reality show/series “The Simple Life”. The series also starred her childhood buddy Paris Hilton. The Simple Life successfully entertained its audience for 3 seasons before the dispute between Nicole and Paris took place. The series was canceled for a short period of time. After things settled down between the two, the series aired for two other seasons before ending. As for her career as an actress, she debuted in the industry with 2005, American comedy film “Kids in America”.

Furthermore, she has also featured in television series like, “American Dreams”, “Eve”, “Six Feet Under”, and a few more. Likewise, also was the guest judge for the premiere episode of the 7th season of Project Runway. She has also judged another reality competition called Fashion Star. Similarly, she has also starred in a comedy series that is based on her own Twitter posts. In the year 2016, she was a part of an American sitcom series “Great News”. The series ended in the year 2018 after completing two seasons. Moreover, Nicole has also judged “Making the Cult”.

She has also worked with one of the top maternity designers and retailer brands in the world; A Pea in the Pod to create a new line of maternity clothes that was named after her. She has launched her very own fragrances in the years 2012, and 2014.
