What Happened To Paul Sr From American Chopper?
For Season 12 of their popular series American Chopper, everyone's favorite motorcycle technicians, Paul Teutul and his son Pauly Junior, are renovating a 1951 Buick. However, reuniting this father-son team has not been simple.
The Teutuls, who collaborated at their upstate New York shop, Orange County Choppers, were the main focus of American Choppers when it first aired in 2003. The father-son duo was notorious for their opposing playing styles and was frequently seen fighting in front of the cameras. However, Paul Jr. was fired in 2008 after a heated disagreement, which inspired him to start a rival business called Paul Jr. Designs.
Fight Between Paul Sr And His Son
Everything started when Junior repeatedly arrived late for work. Paul Sr. said, "It's been one thing after another with him, and I'm not going to let him get away with this s--t anymore," before confronting his son. "You know, I'm so f--king fed up with this babysitting you. It's a f--king quarter to 8. Everybody is in here at 7 o'clock and you come walking in at quarter to 8. When the f--k is it going to stop?"
Junior continued to justify himself by saying to his father, "I don't really give a s--t because at the end of the day, you know what matters, everything gets done around here. Every bike that needs to get built gets done, everybody's working at all times, and you know what... we're partners. If I wasn't involved here, this place would go to s--t. It would burn to the ground."
In front of all of their colleagues, Paul Sr. fired his son after hurling a chair into his father's office. Even though he lost the lawsuit, Paul Sr. took his son's 20% ownership interest in Orange County Choppers to court.
