Vida Blue was a professional baseball player from the U.S. who played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball between 1969 and 1986. During his professional career, Blue represented multiple teams.

While playing, Vida represented teams such as Oakland Athletics, San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, and San Francisco Giants.

In February 1987, Blue retired from professional baseball and started working as a baseball analyst for N.B.C. Sports Bay Area.
